get the ninja 1100 instead
My sister in law and i both purchased ninja blenders. She bought the 1100 i opted for the 1200 because it was more money so i thought it would be better. I was saddened to find out they have the exact same motor all the parts are the exact same but she got a free 30 dollar cookbook, a whipping paddle and her blender makes ice cream (mine does not) the only pro that the 1200 has over the 1100 is the base is one piece and locks to the table. (the 1100 locks too is just two pieces) it is an amazing blender and i am pleased with its performance. i just wish i got more forfor my money! I will be exchanging my 1200 for the 1100.

I love the sharp blades on the blender but I HATE the product because the lids stick to the container and you can never open to get the food in or out. My mom has already broken two lids that the blender came with and is very frustrated with the blender.
