I've got ice!
My ice makers stopped working and rather than pay a repair man, I decided to fix it myself. I tore out the old one and installed the new one. I now have ice and so far no trouble with the part.
*** Update ***
I had ice. This ice maker broke about 2 months ago...so it lasted me about 3 months. I may return it for another. Until then I make ice in the bottom part of fridge. I know this is not a review of Samsung's fridge, but it has been a money pit.
Easy to install and works great
My husband installed this himself the night we got it. It is working perfectly! We have ice again and it is wonderful! :)
Had ice in 2 hrs after installing
Came quickly and installed easily. Started producing ice after 2 hours or so. Don't forget to press the reset button on the unit after installing to make sure it starts cycling properly. Put it in a couple of weeks ago and it is still working great. Not sure if it was refurbished or not, but it looked new to me.
