Tornado Can Opener - As Seen On TV



Don't bother
I bought it, tried to open a can of Bush's Baked Beans. It left a slight dent but would not cut the rim. Amazon customer service was great. The opener does not work!

Not Worth the Money
Only worked once and that was it! Cost too much money for something that only worked once. I ordered another old fashioned electric one and it works terrific.

Replaced my One-Touch with the Tornado
So first off, the name is actually "Tornado," not "Torando." I assumed "tornado" referred to the lightning speed at which this can opener is supposed to work. Unfortunately, it's less tornado, more slow-moving front. But at least it DOES work, which is more than I can say for its biggest competitor, the One-Touch, which as some other reviewers have mentioned has gone way downhill in the past five years. My feeling is that the One-Touch is no longer made by the original company; I went through three One-Touches in a year, where they used to last a couple of years each. So back to the Tornado. I gulped at the almost $40 price point (it has since dropped in price significantly), but took the plunge because I hate hand-crank openers and I was not going to waste more money on another One-Touch.
