The Little Microwave that Could
This small microwave does everything it is advertised to do. For me, it fits into a small kitchen with limited counter space. Yes, my normal dinner plate fits on its turntable. The only drawback from my former "built-in" is the lower power: 800 watts vs the 1,000 watts of the old one. So I have to add 20% to all of the cooking times. No problem.
Does the job well. We like the microwave for our RV.
This microwave is one of the smallest and lightest we could find that actually worked. It is very, very light -- much more so than the other microwaves of its same size.
It has 700 watts of power and heats up food rather quickly for its type. Certainly not as fast as a full powered microwave, but faster than we had expected.
We had tried one of the WaveCube microwaves but it did not heat food up well at all. (It also arrived used when ordered as new, but that is another issue.) We needed a small microwave and the Frigidaire was the next smallest we could find.
One thing to note: There are no setup instructions with the microwave. Mostly it is pretty obvious, but one odd thing is the wave-guard on the right interior wall of the microwave. It is some sort of coated cardboard or paper thing that seems like it may be temporary and should be removed like the other paper or taped things, but apparently it should NOT be removed and is an actual part of the...
